Curling radius measurement device
In the automotive industry the push belt is a well known part of the continuous variable transmission. The belt consists of small push plates kept together by a belt system. A part of the belt system is a single ring capable of keeping the push plates together and meanwhile withstanding the bending occuring during each revolution of the belt. By means of destructive investigation the remaining material tension is checked. The material properties are measured by the curling radius measurement equipent.
In order to facillitate easy access the unit was made to specification for the Vietnamese staff. This resulted in an arrangement with the monitor next to the test area. The user interface language was translated to the language locally used.
